The original Guild Wars was a large hit, revered as one of the best MMO’s created so far. But a number of expansions, the franchise expanded, until they could only go so far with the original engine and timeline.
The solution, a whole new game.
Guild wars 2 was born with this premise, to update the graphics and move the timeline forward 250 years, to a time where the world has now become incredibly different than that of the original.
With being in production for two years and not a single image of gameplay or the game itself, besides production art, this first trailer comes somewhat as a gift to hardcore fans.
