Everything Egyptian is great, but Egyptian and Amazing Adventures together was so fun. July 11, 2010 Christine Roy (Winooski, VT, US) The Amazing Adventures series are just wonderful, too. I am going to get every one of this group, too.
Came promptly and in very good shape.
hidden objects, puzzles June 10, 2010 Linda L. Burns Seek and find was good, but the puzzles were too repetitious. They got too easy, further into the game, especially the jigsaws.
Interesting play with words April 14, 2010 CAROL A. MCGOWAN (Clayton, NJ USA) Amazing Adventures The Lost Tomb was a fun filled game with all the in-between puzzles and the play on words so you were never quite sure what you were looking for.
Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb April 5, 2010 Nancy E. Doucet (Wisconsin) This is a great game full of hunting for hidden objects. A lot of different objects to look for and good background scenes also. Fun for the whole family.

You are an historian who works for a museum that has sent you a piece of a map that is believed to reveal the location of the Lost Tomb of Egypt. Your job is to travel to Egypt and find additional clues by looking for hidden objects in various locations such as a Pyramid, Shipwreck, Sunken Temple, Sphinx, Treasure Chest, Market, Oasis, Crypt and many more sites. Once you have found the Lost Tomb you unlock a Secret Game mode where you can revisit those locations and find even more hidden objects.
"Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb" features 22 different locations with over 2,000 hidden objects throughout more than 100 levels. There are 20 "missions" with several levels in each mission. There are several hidden objects to find in each level - some of which are easy to find and some are hard (there are plenty of hints available). As the game progresses it gets harder to find the hidden objects and the creators of the game make it even harder by sometimes having you find multiples of an object - for example four birds - before you can move on. You also need to find 21 scarabs scattered throughout the game (these can either be pictures of scarabs or the word scarab) which will unlock The Secret Game Mode. Once you find all the hidden objects in each level you have to solve a puzzle - this can be a jigsaw puzzle, matching game, tile swapping game, or find the differences between two pictures (this is always the last puzzle in each round) - that will reveal the next location in the game.
"Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb" is an okay hidden object game. You can play in two modes - timed and relaxed - I played in both and while the timed mode gives you more than enough time to find all the hidden objects I preferred the more relaxed mode. My main problem with the game is that there was no real story to follow - the object of the game simply seems to be to get as many points as possible. There are speed bonuses and you lose points for clicking randomly or using the hint button. You can also move up in rank. However, once the scarabs were all found a lot of the fun of the game went away for me. The final puzzle to end the game was rather easy and The Secret Game Mode was disappointing - you had to look for dozens of hidden objects in each location you've already visited (97 hidden objects in the Mine, 83 in the Crypt, etc.) but that was it - once you found all the objects the game was over with no fanfare. You can, of course, play the game over again as you would have to look for different hidden objects, that seems rather pointless in a game like this.
"Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb" isn't one of the best hidden object games that I've played but it does provide hours of distracting fun.
